bio

I am an architect based in Amsterdam and Athens. My work focuses on building experiences that provoke emotions. Ι work at the crossing of art, architecture and environmental humanities. Currently I’m investigating the interrelations between Optimism and Infrastructures – what they mean for our world making, particularly in these troubled times, and what they can contribute to transformative ethics.  Looking at how spatial practices can be shaped by human-soil relations, feminist traditions and processes of formations following fluxes and flows of materials -  rather than object-oriented approaches - my work is based on and influenced by dynamics of relations and their social context, understood as “a meshwork of interwoven lines of growth”.

Works include architectural projects, design competitions and site-specific installations. I am co-founder of the architectural practice Space Oddity Studio SOS. Recently my installation Twitt-A-Gate won the design competition Icebreakers Toronto and was constructed at the Toronto Waterfront. The same project was shortlisted for the Greek Architecture Awards.
