The brief called for proposals that would reestablish the status of the park in the life of the local community and update the benefits it offers into a model appropriate for our current screen epoch. As a comment on the notion that views digital as seperate from physical - and not as merging - and bearing in mind that social media have appropriated practices of the physical world, the two proposals aim at taking back the “loans” and translating again these new digital practices into physical. The filters hanging from Inst-a-gate eliminate the need to swipe through filters on Instagram. In the arcade of Twit-a-gate Twitter feed is read real-time by content readers and mixed with birds’ twitter.
