tree house

The proposal promotes an elusive dialogue with the topography. The residence is not imposing itself, but rather adjusting to the territory taking into account the particularities of the landscape. The structure is constituted by a fragmented and flexible mass that molds itself to the demands of the terrain. A cut out bodywork into 10 meters modules, recreates a set of volumes that in many ways are analogous in form to those of the small Greek settlements, and therefore blend seamlessly with the landscape. The silhouette of the volumes is defined by a longitudinal wall that establishes an intense dialogue with the topography. Mainly it emphasizes the natural conditions, meaning that it always adapts itself and it never imposes the deformation of the topography, thus avoiding to become artificial. With Atelier Bow Wow, DZ Architects and Oliaros.
